History: Born in the south to a Banker, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Varis has worked very hard to control his curse. History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Lamlis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lamlis decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To be a Scribe again; and balancing his hectic life and new sage responsibilities is difficult
