History: Gifted from a young age, Theriatis studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theriatis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theriatis. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Efferil's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Efferil hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He takes great joy in being the best Engraver in town.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Heian was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Engraver. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
