His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Heian took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mason who has hired him part-time. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mason.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. During his travels, Theriatis and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Theriatis discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Theriatis fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Through the years after Adran was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Adran's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Adran and his spouse have recently divorced.
