One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Theriatis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Personality: Galinndan wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'0" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His hair is long and black with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and a rival would like him out of the picture
