History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mindartis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Mindartis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
