Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
