Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it, and is pretty ugly. He has wavy red hair. His eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Ahvain is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Ahvain was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
