After coming to the age of reason, Erdan took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. After a long history of fighting, Erdan and his spouse have recently divorced.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Dyer for hire.
