His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Efferil is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Korfel grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Caeldrim's homeland. Caeldrim decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Caeldrim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
