History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tharivol was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Efferil lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When Efferil reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Map Maker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by giants. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. He became a Crown-heir soon after.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
