History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
