History: Rael hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: Tharivol wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Tharivol has worked very hard to control his curse. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the north to a Blacksmith, Theren learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Theren took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Blacksmith.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: He was born in the north. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
