History: Paelias was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Junk Dealer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
