History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Laucian was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and someone believes him a fraud
