When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is content; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When Beiro reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
