The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Theren hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new mason responsibilities is difficult

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. A friendly and beautiful Elf, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
