History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Erdan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Erdan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Erdan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and to be a spice merchant again

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new merchant responsibilities is difficult

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
