Through the years after Heian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Heian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Mindartis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
