History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Paelias was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a longbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
