Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aust embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is a great chef.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Aust and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Born to a Stableman, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He struck the Dilettante job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and further expansion of business

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Detective born in the past three hundred years. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Naeris lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family
