Personality: Arannis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stylist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a Engraver, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has never given up on his writing dream.
