History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Arannis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Arannis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gennal grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gennal. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
