History: Beiro was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

History: Nutae was born with his mother's beautiful face. Nutae was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Butcher. After a long history of fighting, Nutae and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
