Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He wears his golden hair up. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Peren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: He stands about 4'11" and is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, blue shirt, and grey tie. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His black hair has been sun bleached extensively. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Theren never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Gifted from a young age, Vanuath studied abroad. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a deep hatred of dire rats
