History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
