However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lamlis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lamlis. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shoemaker. Recently the stress of being a Shoemaker has made it difficult for him to sleep.

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Nutae hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. A freak accident while working with his Sellsword father left him crippled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
