History: Naeris lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

History: He was born in the north. Through the years after Berrian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Berrian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Naal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a performer and was forced into it by his family
