History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ahvain grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ahvain. Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A gifted student he started as a Shipwright, but he got bored and became a Farmer. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and sabotage a competitor

His green leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars. His red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Animal Trainer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

His red hair is singed and shortened. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Arannis reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
