History: Rael hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
