Efferil was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Arannis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Arannis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Born in the north to a Mason, Caeldrim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mason responsibilities is difficult; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Paelias reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paelias fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born into a rich family. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. After months of barely getting by, Immeral managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he has decided he is irredeemable
