History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Naal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Blacksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
