He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: Arannis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Arannis grew up listening to his father's many stories. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and to settle down with his crush
