History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Beiro was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
