History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Eiravel was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Eiravel's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He tends to his Fortune-teller job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Naeris was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Being a Stylist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Gardener and was forced into it by his family; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
