History: He was raised in a forest tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Theren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Theren's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

History: Rolen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A gifted student he started as a Sage, but he got bored and became a Healer. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
