He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Being a Guard kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Ivellios enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Ivellios was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns.
