History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is renowned for his bright green suits and hats. His long white hair reaches down to his waist. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by giants. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears dull green sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed mace, just in case, marred by teas. His black hair is singed and shortened. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Erevan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently the stress of being a Tailor has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
