He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Arannis abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains.
