History: Heian was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Miller soon after.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Carter born in the past three hundred years. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Sailor, but he got bored and became a Carter. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carter.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He worked as a nervous Unemployed and found it very stressful. He became a Unemployed soon after.
