Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Carrie lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by his family.

Description: This tall, slender man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright yellow and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he wants revenge against orcs

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. The war was a terrible time for him, and Efferil does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Painter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Painter and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Cook, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and he loathes his own lifestyle
