History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: Heian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Heian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
