History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hadarai was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hadarai grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hadarai. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Now he works as a music tutor during his time off.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Apothecary mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
