His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Erdan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Nutae lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Banker, and he later adopted a second son.
