He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Nutae was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Nutae was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Merchant. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Being a Masseuse kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Naill lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to unite with his brother

History: He got into the Courier business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
