History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Varis was taken on many hunting expeditions. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
