Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Erevan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
