He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a Sailor soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. Berrian is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Berrian was born the youngest of three triplets. Through the years after Berrian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Berrian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has worked as a Junk Dealer like his father before him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to be a sailor again

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born into a rich family. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable
