Description: An older man who wears tan robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a bow, but if one is not available he will default to his longbow, he is not a threatening figure. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. One day when Varis was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Varis was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a healer and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: This man loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: The child of a Sculptor, who enjoyed hunting, Heian was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
