History: Laucian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ahvain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Through the years after Paelias was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Paelias's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Armorer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
