He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He tends to his Bellfounder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
